CERTIFICATE III IN FITNESS - GYM INSTRUCTOR (SRF30206)

The Certificate III in Fitness is the minimum qualification required to commence working in this exciting industry.
This base level course qualifies you as a gym instructor and provides you with the foundations of knowledge to become a sought after fitness professional.
Gym Instructors run fitness assessments, write introductory programs, conduct program show throughs and supervise the gym floor.
CERTIFICATE IV IN FITNESS - PERSONAL TRAINER (SRF40206)
Interested in working your own hours or setting up your own business?
The Certificate IV in Fitness is the course that extends your fitness knowledge and qualifies you as a Personal Trainer. Work in a gym, leisure centre, on a cruise ship, PT studio, outdoors, at a holiday resort or health spa or even run your own business! Your career pathways are endless.
This advanced course gives students the knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver innovative, individualised one-on-one and group Personal Training sessions.
These qualifications are part of the National Training Package and recognised throughout Australia
First Aid
Obtaining your First Aid qualification is a pre-requisite to register and work within the fitness industry. Australian Fitness Academy offers First Aid Level 2.
Short Workshops
The Fitness Industry is adament, as are we, that practicing instructors and trainers need to keep their knowledge updated. With AFA you have the ability to gain CEC/PDP points with a range of highly innovative short workshops.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
The Australian Fitness Academy's RPL process offers prospective students a potentially quicker way to obtain the Certificate III and IV in Fitness qualifications.
Undertaking the RPL process allows applicants to use their past qualifications and work related experience in order to match the current unit of competencies that make up a Certificate III and IV in Fitness.
Upon review of an RPL application, prospective students will be informed as to exactly what modules (if any) they need to complete in order to obtain their qualifications.
