Australian Fitness Academy provides a unique personal training experience for its clients. The exceptionally well equipped facility offers convenience, quality of training and variety for trainers and clients alike. AFA is a private facility offering a personalised, individualised service in a pleasant non intimidating environment.

As a personal training client at AFA, you will be matched with a trainer who is able to assist you in achieving your desired results, whether you are looking for general gains in health and fitness, rehabilitation or sports specific training.

Accessible by appointment only, you will feel comfortable exercising in this exclusive environment, without the exclusive price tag.

All of our trainers are fully qualified exercise specialists, with a minimum qualification of Certificate III and IV in Fitness and significant industry experience.

WORKSHOPS
Age Specific Programming
One Day Workshop: Commences 11/03/10 9am - 4pm
This workshop will provide students with the knowledge and skills required to design, implement and evaluate effective and enjoyable exercise sessions for children and young adolescents.
Completion of this workshop will allow you to register with Fitness Australia and Kinect as a Childrens Trainer.
Please note: Successful completion of a Certificate III and IV in Fitness is a pre-requisite for enrolment into this workshop.

FACE TO FACE DELIVERY (Full Time Intensive)
Certificate III in Fitness
Face to Face (Full Time Intensive): Commences 29/03/10
Covering a range of subjects from anatomy to exercise prescription, this course will act as the entry level qualification to begin working in the fitness industry!
Successful completion of this course allows students to register as a Gym Instructor.

Certificate IV in Fitness
Face to Face (Full Time Intensive): Commences 03/05/10
Building on what is learnt throughout the Certificate III course, the Certificate IV in Fitness is an advanced course that gives students the knowledge and skills required to deliver innovative personalised programs and training sessions for individuals or groups!
Successful completion of this course allows students to register as a Personal Trainer.

ONLINE DELIVERY
Fully Online

Study with complete flexibility! This mode of study involves all course content, lectures and assessments done completely online at your own pace with a work experience component completed at the end of each Certificate.

Integrated

This mode of delivery combines studying the course content, veiwing the online lectures and completing assessments online while attending scheduled practical sessions in order to put what you’ve learnt into practice.
